Contractor Accreditation Maintenance and Compliance Support

Contractor Accreditation Maintenance and Compliance Support

£110.00 Excl Vat

Ongoing contractor accreditation maintenance for Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor, SMAS and other recognised schemes. We regularly review your selected accreditation, monitor outstanding actions, update evidence and help prepare for renewal.

£110 + VAT per month, per accreditation.

One package covers one accreditation only. Businesses requiring a new accreditation must first purchase the relevant Accreditation and Application Help service.

Ongoing Accreditation Management for Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor, SMAS and More

Contractor accreditations require more than a successful initial application. Policies must remain current, insurance certificates expire, employee records change, training evidence needs updating, and accreditation providers may request additional information throughout the year.

Our Contractor Accreditation Maintenance and Compliance Support service provides ongoing retained support to help keep your chosen accreditation accurate, current and on track.

For £110 + VAT per month, per accreditation, Evolution Safety Solutions will regularly review your accreditation, monitor key information and support you with updates, evidence requests and renewal preparation. The minimum term is 12months.

This service is suitable for accreditations including:

  • Constructionline
  • CHAS
  • SafeContractor
  • SMAS Worksafe
  • Acclaim Accreditation
  • Achilles
  • CQMS
  • Builders Profile
  • Other contractor and supply-chain accreditation schemes

If you hold more than one accreditation, a separate maintenance package must be purchased for each accreditation you want us to manage.

Contractor Accreditation Maintenance Cost

Our retained accreditation maintenance service costs:

£110 + VAT per month, per accreditation

The price applies to the maintenance of one accreditation only.

For example:

  • One accreditation: £110 + VAT per month
  • Two accreditations: £220 + VAT per month
  • Three accreditations: £330 + VAT per month

Each accreditation provider operates its own portal, evidence requirements, assessment process and renewal system. Therefore, each scheme requires its own dedicated maintenance package.

Purchasing one package does not provide maintenance for multiple accreditations.

The minimum term is 12months, first payment due on instruction and then recurring payments on nett30 from the day of instruction.

What Is Included in the Accreditation Maintenance Service?

Our Contractor Accreditation Maintenance and Compliance Support service includes ongoing assistance with the administration and maintenance of your selected accreditation.

The service may include:

  • Regular reviews of your accreditation portal
  • Monitoring the status of your accreditation
  • Checking for outstanding actions or evidence requests
  • Monitoring important document expiry dates
  • Uploading renewed insurance certificates
  • Updating company details when changes occur
  • Updating health and safety information
  • Uploading revised policies and procedures
  • Updating training and competency records
  • Updating employee qualifications and certificates
  • Updating professional memberships
  • Supporting responses to assessor queries
  • Assisting with requests for further evidence
  • Reviewing documents before submission
  • Identifying missing or outdated information
  • Preparing the accreditation for renewal
  • General email and telephone support relating to the accreditation

The aim is to keep your accreditation properly maintained throughout the year rather than leaving all updates until the renewal deadline.

Regular Accreditation Reviews

We will regularly check the selected accreditation to identify outstanding actions, approaching expiry dates and requests for updated evidence.

Where updated information is required, we will contact you and explain what needs to be provided.

Once suitable evidence has been received, we can review it and upload it to the relevant accreditation portal where this is permitted.

This proactive approach helps reduce the risk of:

  • Expired documentation
  • Missed accreditation requests
  • Delayed renewals
  • Incomplete submissions
  • Outdated company information
  • Last-minute compliance work
  • Accreditation interruptions

Accreditation Renewal Support

Renewal requirements can vary between accreditation providers. Some schemes require annual reassessment, while others request updated evidence when documents expire or company circumstances change.

As part of the retained service, we will help prepare your accreditation for renewal by:

  • Reviewing the existing information
  • Checking the status of supporting evidence
  • Identifying documents that need replacing
  • Requesting updated information from your business
  • Reviewing evidence before submission
  • Uploading suitable documents
  • Supporting responses to assessor comments
  • Helping progress the renewal process

Accreditation provider membership, subscription, assessment and renewal fees are not included in our monthly charge. These fees must be paid directly by the client to the relevant accreditation provider.

A Separate Package Is Required for Each Accreditation

This service is sold and managed on a per-accreditation basis.

For example, if your company holds Constructionline, CHAS and SafeContractor, you will need three separate monthly maintenance packages.

This is necessary because each accreditation has:

  • A separate online portal
  • Different assessment criteria
  • Different renewal dates
  • Different evidence requirements
  • Separate assessor queries
  • Its own document and compliance checks

A package purchased for Constructionline cannot also be used to maintain CHAS, SafeContractor, SMAS or another accreditation.

When placing your order, please tell us which accreditation you want the package to cover.

Do You Already Need to Hold the Accreditation?

Yes. This package is intended for the ongoing maintenance of an existing accreditation.

Your accreditation should already be active, approved or substantially established before this maintenance service begins.

If your business does not already hold the required accreditation, you must first purchase the relevant Accreditation and Application Help service.

Our initial application service covers the work required to review your existing information, identify gaps, assemble the application and support the accreditation process.

Once the initial accreditation has been achieved, you can purchase this monthly maintenance package to help keep it updated and on track throughout the year.

Initial Accreditation Applications

The monthly maintenance package does not include:

  • Completing a new accreditation application from the beginning
  • Rebuilding a failed or significantly incomplete application
  • Producing an entire management system
  • Creating substantial bespoke policies or procedures
  • Completing extensive remedial work
  • Paying accreditation provider fees
  • Paying membership or subscription charges
  • Paying assessment or renewal fees

Where a new application or substantial remedial work is required, this will be covered by our separate Accreditation and Application Help service or quoted separately.

For Constructionline, our initial application support is available through our Constructionline Accreditation and Application Help service.

Equivalent application support is also available for schemes such as CHAS, SafeContractor and SMAS Worksafe.

Documents We May Need From You

To maintain your accreditation, we may request updated information and evidence from your business.

This may include:

  • Employers’ liability insurance
  • Public liability insurance
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Health and safety policies
  • Environmental policies
  • Quality policies
  • Training certificates
  • Competency records
  • Qualifications
  • Trade memberships
  • Accident statistics
  • Enforcement history
  • Company registration information
  • Financial information
  • Equality and diversity information
  • Modern slavery information
  • Sustainability information
  • Subcontractor management records
  • Risk assessments and method statements
  • Additional documents requested by the accreditation provider

The exact evidence required will depend on the accreditation scheme, your business activities, the accreditation level and the questions raised by the assessor.

Your Responsibilities

We will monitor, review and support the maintenance of your selected accreditation. However, we will need your cooperation to keep it current.

You must provide requested information promptly and ensure that the information supplied to us is complete and accurate.

You remain responsible for:

  • Maintaining appropriate insurance cover
  • Renewing employee training and qualifications
  • Informing us about significant company changes
  • Providing accurate business information
  • Paying accreditation provider fees
  • Implementing policies and procedures within your business
  • Complying with applicable legal requirements
  • Responding to our requests for updated evidence

We cannot upload documents that have not been provided to us. Delays in receiving information may affect the accreditation status or renewal timescale.

Policy and Document Updates

Where an existing document requires a minor update, we may be able to assist as part of the normal maintenance process.

However, the monthly package does not include unlimited production of new or bespoke documentation.

Additional charges may apply where your business requires:

  • New policies written from the beginning
  • Bespoke procedures
  • Complex management systems
  • Extensive document revisions
  • Site-specific risk assessments
  • Method statements
  • Construction phase plans
  • COSHH assessments
  • Training
  • Audits
  • Consultancy outside the accreditation scope

We will advise you before carrying out any separately chargeable work.

Who Is This Service Suitable For?

Our Contractor Accreditation Maintenance and Compliance Support service is suitable for businesses that depend on accreditations to prequalify for work, join approved supply chains or demonstrate compliance to clients.

We support organisations including:

  • Building contractors
  • Principal contractors
  • Subcontractors
  • Civil engineering companies

Why Use a Retained Accreditation Support Service?

Accreditations are often reviewed only when a renewal deadline is approaching. By that point, insurance documents may have expired, training records may be incomplete, and key policies may no longer reflect the business.

A retained service allows the accreditation to be reviewed and maintained throughout the year.

This can help your business:

  • Reduce internal administration
  • Avoid missed accreditation actions
  • Keep records better organised
  • Prepare earlier for renewal
  • Respond more effectively to assessor requests
  • Reduce last-minute document gathering
  • Maintain access to supply-chain opportunities
  • Demonstrate a more organised compliance system
  • Save management time

Our role is to help keep the accreditation process moving and ensure that required actions are not overlooked.

Contact us before ordering if your required accreditation is not listed.

Important Service Limitations

Our service provides professional administration, document review and accreditation support. However, approval and continued accreditation remain subject to the independent decisions of the relevant accreditation provider.

We cannot guarantee that an accreditation will be approved, renewed or maintained where:

  • The client does not meet the scheme requirements
  • Required evidence is unavailable
  • Information is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Documents are not supplied in time
  • Accreditation fees remain unpaid
  • Required improvements are not implemented
  • The accreditation provider changes its requirements
  • The provider rejects the submitted evidence

We will identify issues and provide practical guidance, but the final assessment decision is made by the relevant accreditation body.
