• Assessment: Written test + BA entry and rescue practical
• Duration: 2 days

Level 2 Entrant and Entry Controller (Medium/High Risk)

• For: Multi-role operatives working inside confined spaces and supervising others
• Dual Certification: Assessed as both an entrant and a top person
• Popular with: Teams with rotating responsibilities or limited staffing

Level 2 Award in Control Entry and Arrangements

• For: Entry Controllers (Top Person) who supervise but do not enter
• Covers: Permit issue, comms, emergency plans, log keeping

Level 3 Award in Managing the Confined Spaces Site

• For: Site supervisors and managers with operational responsibility
• Covers: SSOW design, permit authoring, contractor control, post-incident review
• Assessment: 15-question written test, 70% pass mark
