Location Options: At our Abercynon Training Centre or on-site at your location, anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability)

Why This HSG47 Course Replaces the HV Substations Course

From May 2025, the existing HV Substations course will be withdrawn as part of National Grid’s updated training requirements. Going forward:

• • Substations Fitter training will apply to personnel working inside substations
  • This HSG47 course becomes the required training for those working near underground HV cables, particularly in excavation, detection, and civils environments
